Higginbotham will engage Chapman Schewe Benefits Consulting in Houston to supplement the in-house consulting and administration services that it provides to employee benefits clients.
Commercial insurance broker William J. Crocker, CLCS, has joined Higginbotham in Austin as vice president, real estate practice leader. He will help build the firm’s presence in the real estate sector using his seven years of industry practice begun in Houston, a market he will continue to serve.
Coastal Insurance Group, a personal and commercial insurance broker in Friendswood, Texas, has joined the long list of firms to become part of the growing Higginbotham family. Higginbotham entered the Friendswood market in 2010 by merging with The Essential Insurance Group.

Higginbotham won a Safeco Insurance® Make More Happen Award for our involvement with the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. The award provides a $2,000 grant from Safeco to the YMCA to help continue sending children to the organization’s Camp Grady Spruce.
