Phil Swift, CIC, CRM has become marketing manager at the Houston office of Swantner & Gordon, part of the Higginbotham group. The Independent Insurance Agents of Houston (IIAH) inducted Swift as president September 21 during its 2013-2014 officer installation dinner.

Together, we are the largest independent insurance and financial services employer in Central Texas with a total of 75 employees providing single source solutions to businesses and individuals.
The list of 100 Largest Brokers of U.S. Business published annually by Business Insurance places Higginbotham at No. 32 of the more than 45,000 independent insurance firms in the nation. The rank, based on 2012 revenue, represents 15.6% growth from last year.
Sawyer Insurance Agency, owned and operated by Mike Sawyer since 1975, has merged with Higginbotham. The group of three property/casualty insurance professionals will move from its office in Richardson, Texas to Higginbotham’s branch in Dallas on June 24, 2013. The union gives Higginbotham added personal insurance capacity to serve high net worth individuals and Sawyer new resources to enchance customer service.
